“Rosé Sky” is my love letter to the transgender and queer dance community. The title is a metaphor for the pink and blue in the trans flag projected onto the sky, looking like it would be during a pink sunset. The longer I have been trans, the more my identity has become an all-encompassing part of my life. The music on the project reflects this energy, as I took most of my inspiration from trans and queer dance parties that I have had the privilege to experience.

Bandcamp Downloads of this album include an exclusive Janelovesu! album DJ mix, as well as an unmixed bonus track for transitioning from "Sleeep" to "Irresistible," and DJ versions of "From the Heart" and New Start," which have had the high-pass filter FX removed.

I have been playing these tracks in Brooklyn on my MIDI controller since before I learned how to DJ. It feels so special to release this album in this way.
